Brandon Som is the author of The Tribute Horse (winner of the Kate Tufts Discovery Award) and the chapbook Babel's Moon. He has been awarded fellowships at the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center and Civitella Ranieri. Som teaches literature and creative writing at the University of California, San Diego.
Jessica Bruder is an award-winning journalist whose work focuses on subcultures and economic justice. Her work on Nomadland: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century (a 2018 CLSC selection) spanned three years and more than 15,000 miles of driving.
